The Ni-Ki-Oh! Card of the Day subforum opened on February 22, 2006 and was officially announced on the site's main page a week later, March 2, 2006. This section was supposed to be a portal for CES Staff to post a new card from the Ni-Ki-Oh! series each day for registered users to review. While many of the cards posted were from the official Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, the information provided was usually based on Ni-Ki-Oh! rules and card text was dubbed as Ni-Ki-Oh! Card Errata.
On November 26, 2007, Pegasus announced that Card of the Day was being transferred to The Vault. According to this thread, the Card of the Day would soon reopen and highlight cards, albeit not daily, from the complete Ni-Ki-Oh! Card Errata list and DMT2 Promotional Packs. The first such entry was intended to be Underworld Circle, but the reopening did not occur at that time.
In March 2022, Ted Phillips silently reopened Ni-Ki-Oh! Card of the Day, with the intent to add any additional Duel Monsters cards created for Ni-Ki-Oh! or by members of the historical Free United Club of Kids, on an ongoing, but not daily, basis. The first new entry was Tiyranto Magnasio.
That list now uses the original, actual posting times. The following shows the entries' intended release dates and order, even though many of them were posted in groups at other times, for entries #1-32.
History
CES Staff had first intended Ni-Ki-Oh! Card of the Day to be updated literally daily, but this was rarely the case. As a result, it was not uncommon for the staff to post several cards for review on the same day in an attempt to catch up and modify post times to deceive lower-level users. Many of the reviews that have been posted were based on card text that was posted incorrectly or incomplete. The lifespan of the subforum lasted a little more than a month until the staff realized that all known Ni-Ki-Oh!-specific card effects had been posted, and posting any more would result in spoiling the future of the series. On April 15, 2006, Ni-Ki-Oh! Card of the Day was officially and silently closed. On November 26, 2007, Pegasus announced that Card of the Day was being transferred to The Vault.
