Artwork: Super sucky. Enough said.

1/10

Stats: Wow, a Spellcaster. That could like...be useful with Magician's Circle or something. Otherwise, the stats suck.

4/10

Effect: A risky effect with a big payoff when played right.

6/10

Ease of Use: Searchable by...almost all the common searchers for weak, light and/or spellcasters.

8/10

Stupid Combo:

It is a traditional duel. Your opponent has both BLS - Envoy of the Beginning and CED - Envoy of the End on the field. They also have Magical Marionette and you have Gearfried the Iron Knight. They have no other cards. You play the deadly Butterfly Dagger - Elma on Gearfried. You do this many times increasing Magical Marionette's attack to 90000. You then normal summon the Time Wizard. They respond with CED's effect but it is in vain as you discard Yata-Garasu for the effect of your face down Divine Wrath. You spin for Time Wizard and you are successful. That's 45150 damage to the opponent. Gay-muh End-uh.

TIME WIZARD'S APPEARANCES IN NI-KI-OH!

In episode 1-2 Immense Damage:

Seto Vacca has 2 Dark Magicians and a Blue-Eyes White Dragon on the field. Pegasus has been mindlessly powering them up. Vacca keeps claiming that he will win, and thinks that Pegasus's strategy is to use Reverse Trap. However, Pegasus is not holding Reverse Trap in his hand but a Time Wizard.

PEGASUS: I'm gonna use the Time Wizard. *plays it face-up in defense mode*
VACCA: Oh, cool, let me see it? *picks up the card without permission to examine it* That is so friggin' hot!
PEGASUS: It's time to spin!
*The Twister spinner spins.*
VACCA: Come on, skull...
PEGASUS: Come on, time machine...
*The spinner is slowing down to a climactic finish.*
VACCA: Come on, skull!
*The spinner lasts on a foot.*
PEGASUS: Yes!
VACCA: Nooo!
PEGASUS: You're really gonna dig what happens next. A big time warp opens up and sucks all of your monsters into it.
VACCA: Nooo!

Again, in episode 1-9:

Niki and Joey are dueling against Tommy. Joey plays Card Destruction, and Niki draws Baby Dragon and Time Wizard. Tommy, however, knows that Niki has the two cards. He says that Niki can't use the Time Wizard to power down Tommy's dragons because the Lord of D. that Joey played forbids it.

Niki plays a monster in defense mode. Tommy thinks that Niki played the Baby Dragon and is planning to play the combo with the Time Wizard. To stop Niki beforehand, Tommy uses Stop Defense on Niki's monster, but it is a Man-Eating Treasure Chest. Tommy attacks it with his dragon anyway.

When Niki is confident enough, Joey says, "Combine the two," Niki plays the Baby Dragon.

NIKI: I play Baby Dragon!
TOMMY: But it's still not strong enough to destroy my dragons!
NIKI: But, I'll use the Time Wizard to make it grow into a Thousand Dragon! *plays Time Wizard in the M/T zone*
TOMMY: Oh, no! But it's still not strong enough!
NIKI: And your Black-Eyes Silver Dragon is at what attack power?
TOMMY: It's attack goes all the way up to 3000!
NIKI: Well, I'll just use Reverse Trap! *activates a face-down Reverse Trap*
TOMMY: Oh, no!
NIKI: Inferno Flame Breath!

It turns out that the Thousand Dragon is also powered down by Reverse Trap and so is destroyed instead. Niki loses many life points.

Episode 2-2: Magical Hat

Vacca vs. the Spirit of the Hat. Vacca has a few monsters, including Gaia the Fierce Knight, and the Spirit has a monster in defense mode.

VACCA: Time Wizard! Time Roulette, go!
  • Twister spins and lands on a foot, but then changes to a hand.*

Vacca's monsters are destroyed and his life points decrease from around 5000 to 1950.
