Ritual
Tribute 3 face-up Defense Position "Skull Servant" cards on your side of the field to destroy all cards in your opponent's hand and on your opponent's side of the field. Special Summon 1 Archfiend Monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, or that was removed from play in Attack Position.

History

Troubling Ritual was first printed in March 2004 as a Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist Club web site exclusive, as a reward to anyone who had visited the site's list of club promos during the first week after its launch date.

The card was reprinted beginning August 6, 2007 in the DMT2 Tournament Pack, a promotional expansion pack legal during the Cracked Egg Studios-sanctioned Duel Monsters Tournament II.

Artwork: Can someone say Curse of Royal?

2/10

Stats: Ritual Traps eh? You can spring this on your opponent's turn.

7/10

Effect: You can f**k over your opponent on their turn. That's so cool. Though three face-up defense position Skull Servants is difficult, the result is good.

6/10

Ease of Use: Skull Servant isn't exactly the easiest to do but very possible thanks to recent cards with the word "nomenclature" in the title.

3/10

Stupid Combo:

You somehow pull this off and whip out the Archfiend of Gilfer. Your opponent however, had to discard Goldd, Wu-Lord of the Dark World and Sillva, Warlord of the Dark World. Now that both of them are on the field, you just lost the last two cards in your hand and your newly played Archfiend of Gilfer. Your opponent still hasn't attacked for their turn and they double direct for a measly 4100 LP thanks to Archfiend of Gilfer which attached itself to Goldd. Too bad you only had 3000 LP left. Gay-muh End-uh.
