Card Name: Mystical Moon (MAGIC)
Card No: LOB-094

Field
When you activate this card, move 1 "Umi" from your Graveyard or Deck to your hand. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, increase the ATK and DEF of all Beast-Warrior-Type monsters by 300 points, double the original attack of all "Silver Fang," reduce Battle Damage inflicted by Thunder-type monsters to 0, and negate the effects of "Raigeki," "Raimei," and "Lightning Vortex."

Artwork: Doesn't look to mystical, but it is a moon.

7/10

Stats: A Field spell printed as an Equip? Field spells generally suck, and this is no exception.

6/10

Effect: That Lightning thing is very situational. Doubling Silver Fang's attack would be sweet though.

4/10

Ease of Use: I doubt many people would waste their time destroying this thing, so it is really easy to use. Everyone get your anti-lighting/anti-summoned skull/silver fang decks ready.

8/10

Stupid Combo:

Your opponent has Summoned Skull on the field and one card face down (Dust Tornado). You play Silver Fang in attack mode and attack Summoned Skull. They activate Dust Tornado and you lose 1300 LP, bringing you down to 900. Then, you activate a face down Ultimate Offering and lose 500 LP to play Jowgen the Spiritualist. Then you activate your face down Last Turn. Gay-muh End-uh.

In the series, Niki plays this card against Pegasus, during the glossed-over portion of episode 3-3. Pegasus has the mighty Red-Eyes Toon Dragon on the field [2400/2000].

NIKI: I have the power of Silver Fang. And I'll use the magic of the Mystical Moon to double his attack power!

Silver Fang's attack then grows to 2400, match the Red-Eyes Toon Dragon. Silver Fang then attacks, but since Red-Eyes is a toon, it simply moves out of the way and strikes back, destroying Silver Fang.

Later, Niki has played Exodia the Forbidden One in defense mode. Pegasus has the Red-Eyes Toon Dragon and the Toon Summoned Skull on the field. Pegasus uses the Gorgon's Eye trap card to change it to stone.

NIKI: No! Exodia! He's been turned to stone!
PEGASUS: Lightning Strike!
NIKI: Don't forget, Pegasus. My Mystical Moon is still on the field. And the moon is the highest object in the sky. And lightning is always attracted to the highest objects. So the lightning goes right to the moon! Therefore, you can't destroy your monsters by attacking mine. Now, is there anything else you would like to do before I end your turn?
PEGASUS: Inferno Fire Blast!

The dragon's attack destroys Exodia, so half of its defensive power is deducted from Niki's life points.

Later, in episode 3-4, Niki uses Change of Heart, taking over Pegasus's Unhappy Maiden. He launches the maiden with his Catapult Turtle, attempting to destroy Toon World, but Pegasus activates a trap, and its one of Niki's favorites: Mirror Force! Reflecting the Catapult Turtle's attack right back at the moon!

NIKI: The moon?! Nooo!

Pegasus was then able again to attack with the Toon Summoned Skull again.
