High and Toon Noon was the first sci-fi short produced by Nick Phillips. It was recorded on VHS-C format media in September 1995, but was not edited or released to the public until March 28, 2009.

Synopsis

Nicky explores the moon and appreciates the solar system from his new vantage point. When he realizes he forgot where he parked his spaceship, he embarks on a perilous journey into the moon monster's territory to find it.

History

In 1998, Ted's Fun Site suggested that Ted Phillips held the rights to this film, which it referred to as "High Noon Moon Toon." However, when Nick Phillips created his company Dannick Studios in 1999, he retained all rights, even though the master was stored at Cracked Egg Studios.

On November 22, 2001, Cracked Egg Studios commissioned and recorded a second installment, called High and Toon Noon Pt. 2, which followed a similar storyline to the original.

On March 9, 2009, Ted Phillips transferred the master to a digital file.
