Dannick Studios was founded in September 1999 by Nick Phillips and Daniel Hostomsky. Dannick is a portmanteau of the names Danny and Nick. Dannick Studios produced several screenplays, including Motorcycles, The Dream, and The Prisoners. None of them were shot except for The Prisoners, which was renamed The Twisted Mile and filmed by Cracked Egg Studios in 2001.
Upon its founding, Dannick Studios made a blanket acquisition of various video games, films, writings, and other such works of art, created directly by Nick Phillips up to that date, such as Ghost of The, Kong of the Gong Go of One, and Skelly.
Nick Phillips and Daniel Hostomsky separated within a year, but Nick Phillips still used the studio name for his own independent projects until he co-founded Noey Games in 2001 and Noey Productions in 2002. However, Dannick Studios remained a separate entity and retained its intellectual property until the company merged with Cracked Egg Studios in January 2004.
