The Web Site Era began May 2005 and continued until roughly 2009. It was preceded by the Ni-Ki-Oh! Era and followed by the VaultWiki Era.
The Web Site Era began with the development of the Cracked Egg Studios web site, which launched May 29, 2005. During the era, most studio work was dedicated to creating new features for the web site, marketing for the web site, writing articles about studio history, and making web releases of both old and new content.
Through its work on the web site, development gradually formed what became known as VaultWiki, until that became the sole focus, kicking off the VaultWiki Era.
