History
On June 12, 2006, the sub-forum MASTER-EGG v1.0 was created under the forum category The Next-Gen Entertainment Alternative. On that date, Ted Phillips opened the first thread posting his ideas for upgrades to the workstation the MASTER-EGG and asking for feedback.
On August 14, 2006, the web site launched the EGG Builder, a service where Cracked Egg Studios built workstations modeled after their own and sold them to clients. Upon its launch, the purpose of the sub-forum was expanded to act as a support avenue for customers of the service.
Even so, by December 2006, there was still only one thread created in the sub-forum, the one discussing the MASTER-EGG's proposed upgrades. That thread was merged as comments to a May 5, 2006, news article that had announced planned upgrades, and the sub-forum MASTER-EGG v1.0 was removed.
