Beyond the Wrap is a satirical blog describing, in an exaggerated fashion, how The Co-Op has affected Edgewater Park with its tightening of security since 2005. It describes itself as "A case study of the tyranny facing the Park of Edgewater, as will be investigated in the upcoming documentary 'Beyond the Wrap.'" The blog, created on June 30, 2008, is written by Ted and Nick Phillips, who use the name "Three Prominent Men."
The name "Beyond the Wrap" comes from a dream Nick Phillips had in 2001, in which a stranger standing in the water at Big Oak Beach said to him, "I challenge you to stand beyond the wrap."
The blog is located at http://edgewaterhobag.blogspot.com. "Edgewater Hobag" is a reference to one of the many search terms someone used when searching the Internet for a legendary pornographic video featuring a resident of Edgewater Park. Ironically, this video has nothing to do with the content of the blog.
