Life During the Renaissance was a sixth-grade Social Studies report written by Clare Phillips on May 8, 2006. However, Clare was unsure how to write a concluding paragraph for her paper, so she enlisted the help of her brother Ted. The report was saved with the file name renaissance crap.doc.

The conclusion read as follows:
Ted Phillips said:
"The Renaissance" was both a great phrase and a great phase in history. It was an artistically flourishing time with close-knit families that had a zest for life, though it was still filled with the obvious differences between the rich and the poor. The culture of paintings and sculpture made this quite a spectacular period that still influences us today. If the Renaissance were alive today, I would say "Thank you."

Clare realized with outrage that the last sentence was facetious, so she deleted it and left the rest of the conclusion alone. This report, once sentence shorter, was saved with the file name renaissance.doc and submitted for her assignment.
