vBulletin Project Tools

vBulletin Project Tools was a web-based project management software developed by Jelsoft Enterprises, Ltd, and vBulletin Solutions, Inc, for use with vBulletin forum installations. In 2010, vBulletin Solutions decided to discontinue support for Project Tools and offer it as open-source software on a dedicated website at vb-os.com.

Cracked Egg Studios used vBulletin Project Tools for its project management needs on both its main corporate web site and on its VaultWiki support site.

From 2010 through 2012 and sporadically thereafter, a number of improvements Cracked Egg Studios made for its own use of vBulletin Project Tools were contributed to the open source project. This included the ability to place several projects together under project groupings, the ability to create custom magic-select drop-downs for each project, and eventually some compatibility changes for newer versions of PHP. The company also submitted fixes for numerous bugs, especially style issues in legacy browsers. The project began listing the Cracked Egg Studios vbulletin.org account thincom2000 as a coauthor of the software at that time.

While the open-source project for vBulletin Project Tools was never officially discontinued even though vBulletin 4.x reached end-of-life status, the software's web site went defunct by 2018, with many contributors unable to login or submit changes any longer.
