CES VaultWiki Special Images

CES VaultWiki Special Images (product ID: ces_spec_img) was a premium add-on plugin for VaultWiki 2.x from 2008-2010, which was included in the Premium tier subscription or could be purchased separately for $9.99 until the release of VaultWiki 3.x, when the plugin's features were incorporated into the main product and it was discontinued.[1]

The plugin added a new [image]...[/image] BB-Code to VaultWiki, which was used to insert reusable wiki images inline in wiki pages. This was more reliable than copying and pasting forum [attach]...[/attach] BB-Codes, which were tied to the original content. The plugin also included a number of Special pages related to images.

There were several versions of this plugin, but very little information is known about them, since bug tracking and release announcements tended to be combined with those of the main product. Due to the studio's web site backup policies prior to 2014, it is believed that no copies of this plugin survive to this day. The most recent known version of this plugin was 1.1.3 released prior to October 31, 2009, based on the availability of language packs by third parties.
