Noey Games was a video game development company founded in March 2001 by Nick Phillips and Joseph Justus. Noey is a portmanteau of the names Nick and Joey. Noey Games produced several video games, including Pokémon White and The Legend of Ryan.

History

When Noey Productions formed in 2002, it absorbed Noey Games as its video game division, but continued developing titles under the old name.

Standard practice at Noey Games had a lead developer assigned to each title, with all development taking place within the lead's home office on a single workstation. However, occasionally game builds circulated between developers using floppy disks.

Joseph Justus moved to Connecticut in August 2005, causing developer collaboration to plummet. Development progress on game titles that had been assigned to Justus was not copied to other developers at the time. When Noey Productions, and by extension Noey Games, was merged into Cracked Egg Studios in 2006, development progress of these titles was apparently lost in the merger.

Released games

Although Pokémon White was widely advertised in the company's early years, and thus well-known by people who followed the company's work, the only video game developed by the company known to have achieved a state where it could be released was The Legend of Ryan in 2005.

Noey Games, did, however, release several games that were not video games:

Partially developed games

Noey Games developed a number of video games that were never completed or are considered lost. After the merger, these were either indefinitely delayed or cancelled by Cracked Egg Studios.
