Dannick Studios was founded in September 1999 by Nick Phillips and Daniel Hostomsky. Dannick is a portmanteau of the names Danny and Nick. Dannick Studios produced several screenplays, including Motorcycles, The Dream, and The Prisoners. None of them were shot except for The Prisoners, which was renamed The Twisted Mile and shot in 2001 by Cracked Egg Studios.
Nick Phillips and Daniel Hostomsky separated within a year, but Nick Phillips still used the studio name for his own independent productions until he co-founded Noey Productions. Dannick Studios was assimilated by Cracked Egg Studios in 2004, and Noey Productions in 2006.
