CES Site News (product ID: ces_site_news) was a vBulletin software plugin developed by Cracked Egg Studios, designed to facilitate publishing news content. It was published on January 23, 2007, at vbulletin.org. It was discontinued with the first-party release of vBCMS with vBulletin 4.x in 2009.
This plugin converted a traditional vBulletin forum node into a news feed. New forum threads were treated as news articles and were presented in full or as previews, rather than as directory listings of article titles. It was also possible to syndicate content from other forums and to modify the preview text using BB-Codes such as
