Observatory is a future computer game, based on the board game of the same name. The game is expected to be a 3D turn-based party game, with several modes allowing for new ways to play the classic board game, including online play, locations to explore, and items to collect.
History
In August 2011, it was revealed that development had begun on web-based and Facebook versions of the game, but as with nearly all projects of that time period, it was derailed by the events and aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
Development on Observatory began anew in March 2020, at the onset of the Unreal Era. In July of that year, a teaser was circulated on Facebook to announce the project.
