The Games sub-forum was one of the original sub-forums when the forum launched on June 6, 2005, originally with a forum ID of #4, in the forum category The Next-Gen Entertainment Alternative. The sub-forum was closed in 2009.
Its description was as follows:
On or about December 14, 2006, the forum was partially reorganized to facilitate the development of Crackipedia, causing the parent forum The Vault to be renamed to "New Releases." At the same time, a new sub-forum named "The Vault" (#31) was created in the same forum category and Games was moved under that instead.
Between February 12-16, 2007, the forum was reorganized again, and the sub-forum The Lost Pyramid (#8) was removed. Some of its existing threads were merged into Games, while others were merged into a competing development sub-forum by the same name The Lost Pyramid #17.
On October 7, 2009, the Studio tab was reorganized and Games was removed. Most of its existing threads were merged into its parent forum, now called "Studio Questions and Discussion."

Between January 13-18, 2006, the entire forum was recreated manually when the software changed from Web Wiz Forums to phpBB, but Games was moved under the sub-forum The Vault (#6). While Web Wiz had separated data for forum categories from that of sub-forums, phpBB stored their data together. This change resulted in the forum ID for Games changing to #7.
