Card Name (1)
Just like Monster Cards, Magic and Trap Cards with the same name are considered to be the same card, and you can only have up to 3 copies of the same card in your Main Deck and Side Deck combined.
Type (2)
Instead of having an Attribute symbol like Monster Cards, a Magic Card has the "MAGIC" symbol and a Trap card has the "TRAP" symbol.
Icon (3)
There are 6 types of icons that represent special properties a Magic or Trap Card may have. Magic and Trap Cards without an icon are called "Normal Magic Cards" or "Normal Trap Cards."

Each card's activating conditions and effects are provided here. Read the card description carefully and follow the instructions.
Card Number (5)
A card's Booster Pack and identification number are indicated here. This number is useful for collecting, and for sorting your collection.
