CES Parser Permissions

CES Parser Permissions (product ID: ces_html_profile) is a vBulletin software plugin developed by Cracked Egg Studios, designed to enable different syntax in user-generated content based on a user's permissions. It was published on February 4, 2007, at vbulletin.org, under its original name CES Profile Field HTML Parser.

This plugin was created based on user requests, with its early feature set allowing users to enter rich text in their vBulletin profile information, using syntax such as BB-Code or HTML, based on the user's permissions. Subsequent versions added support permissions-based syntax in other locations, such as signatures, post content, blogs, and private messages.

This plugin included the [anything]...[/anything] BB-Code from version 1.2.0 - 1.2.1, after which the BB-Code was removed and spun off into a separate plugin CES [Anything] BB-Code.

This plugin had multiple releases until its most recent version 2.2.5 on June 25, 2014.
