CES Intelligent Attachment Query (product ID: ces_int_attach) was a vBulletin software plugin developed by Cracked Egg Studios, designed to improve performance in vBulletin. It was published on January 27, 2007, at vbulletin.org.
This plugin reduced the number of MySQL queries over a basic vBulletin installation by prefetching metadata about attachments on visible posts in a thread. By default, vBulletin queried attachments for a thread if at least one post in the thread contained an attachment, but the plugin changed this behavior so that only posts displayed on the current page would cause attachments to be queried.
The plugin had multiple releases until its final version 1.3.0 on March 25, 2008.
