The Escape of Jurassic Park was a short story written by Teddy Phillips in 1994 as a direct sequel to the 1993 film Jurassic Park. As a departure from the point of view in the film, The Escape of Jurassic Park was written from the perspective of the dinosaurs.

History

A majority of The Escape of Jurassic Park was written in a waiting room of the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York prior to one of Ted Phillips' spinal taps.

The story later became the inspiration for Ted Phillips' 1995 video adaptation and 1997 film Return to the Lost World: Jurassic Park.
