The Thingamabob's Era began in December 2000 and continued through summer 2003. It spanned the inception, launch, golden age, and slow death of the Thingamabob.com2 web site, which was inspired by events important to the founding of the historical Free United Club of Kids.
During the Thingamabob's Era, Thingamabob.com2 received regular updates and was the main web site for hobbies of Ted and Nick Phillips, as well as Cracked Egg Studios projects. A significant amount of old studio content was revived and new content created to keep the web site fresh with content.
