You can only activate when your monster(s) or your Life Points are targeted by an attack. After activation, this card becomes an Equip Trap Card equipped to 1 of your Spellcaster-Type monsters. This card makes the equipped monster's ATK the ATK of the attacking monster (treat the monster's ATK as if it did not change this turn). Then, negate the attack and select 1 of your opponent's monsters. The equipped monster battles this monster now. If your opponent has no monsters on the field or only has Spirit monsters on the field, the equipped monster can attack directly now. The equipped monster cannot be destroyed as a result of battle and the opponent takes all Battle Damage to this card's controller that he/she would have taken from a battle involving the equipped monster. At the end of the Damage Step, send this card to the Graveyard.
