CES NuWiki Article Types was a vBulletin software plugin developed by Cracked Egg Studios that extended the features of NuHit's NuWiki. This plugin began development on May 9, 2007, was announced on nuhit.com on August 2, 2007, and was discontinued October 26, 2007.

It is common practice in wiki naming conventions to add disambiguating terms to the end of content titles inside parentheses; however, Cracked Egg Studios believed that such titles should render in a way that deemphasized the parenthetical and gave the title a more appealing appearance.

This plugin altered the appearance of titles by parsing out parentheticals and displaying the contents in smaller text beside the main title. It referred to these disambiguating terms as article "types." The plugin also allowed editors to define additional types for disambiguation purposes, using the {{type:...}} syntax, without having to include them in the actual title data. Since title data was used to form content URLs, it was often undesirable to include excess verbiage there, especially when the content was the one with the main emphasis among those being disambiguated.

It was in use on crackedeggstudios.com from May 9, 2007, through October 26, 2007, but it is unclear whether the plugin was ever released to the general public. The studio did not keep its own records of this information, and the web sites where the releases would have been posted no longer exist.

This plugin was discontinued when Cracked Egg Studios combined all of its core functionality into the plugin CES NuWiki Parser Extensions. The studio did not maintain copies of its discontinued software prior to 2014. Thus, it is believed that no copies of this plugin survive to this day.
