CES Dynamic [IMG] Resize (product ID: ces_dynamicpic) was a vBulletin software plugin developed by Cracked Egg Studios that automatically displayed oversized image embeds at a reduced size. It was published on September 9, 2007, at vbulletin.org.

This plugin was originally intended as contributions to TECK's Dynamic Picture Resize for [IMG] Tag, but the developer of that plugin recommended that Cracked Egg Studios publish their own plugin. This plugin distinguished itself by not requiring file edits.

The plugin reduced the size of images that exceeded a maximum width, including the widths of multiple images side by side, and it added a note to affected images. Users could then click the note to expand an image back its original size.

vBulletin's caching mechanism for images was different than the mechanism for the rest of a post, and vBulletin's user permissions affected image rendering, leading to multiple issues in this plugin. By 2009, a concept called responsive design was beginning to emerge online, which largely preempted the need for this plugin. It was discontinued on May 16, 2009, though it did receive security updates for a short time thereafter.

This plugin had multiple versions, ending with 1.2.3 on July 8, 2009.
