CES Board Inactive Alert Placement (product ID: ces_bbact_place) was a vBulletin software plugin developed by Cracked Egg Studios to give forum administrators greater control over the appearance of the the Board Inactive alert. It was published on February 9, 2007, at vbulletin.org.
Normal vBulletin behavior placed an alert for forum administrators that would appear immediately after the header and footer style templates, if an administrator had taken the forum offline for maintenance. In many cases, a forum would have a custom style that would not render properly when the alert was placed in this way.
